Ideal Place

My ideal place would be a cold dark isle of enormous black crystalline pillars, with thick overcast skies bringing constant downpour, the pillars ringing in a harmonic frequency due to the wind shaking them. There would be a weak glow emanating from the thin inclusions in the black stone ground, casting a cool azure shimmer upon the landscape. The low howl of the wind  and rain blows the scent of petrichor into the air, with no smoke or man made toxins to assault the senses. A small, fully stocked villa made of perfectly smooth marble, no more than 250 square feet and 10  feet in height, rests upon a flat area near the Isle’s center, surrounded by a perfect ring of the pillars with a mere 2.5 feet of clearing between them. Most important among these traits is the means of access, being surround by a roaring maelstrom  and having a calm flow only large enough for a single speed boat to pass through.
